Serving PBORs

Pay, allowances, and service-related financial information for soldiers and junior commissioned officers of the Indian Armed Forces.

Who handles your pay and allowances

The pay and allowances of Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBORs) — Jawans, NCOs and JCOs — of the Indian Armed Forces are administered by the Controller of Defence Accounts (Other Ranks) and a network of Pay Accounts Offices across India. Each regiment and corps has a designated PAO responsible for maintaining pay accounts.

Your monthly pay is credited directly to your bank account. All pay-related records, claims, and certificates are processed through your unit and the designated PAO for your regiment or corps.
